We are seeking passionate world-changers who want to elevate their leadership skills to the next level by becoming a Legacy Leader for a HoPe Leadership Chapter.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO BE A LEGACY LEADER
(HoPe Officer)?

Students interested must complete a Legacy Leader Application in order to be considered for the position.
Must be a high school student.
Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA (weighted).
Must be passionate about HoPe's mission, committed, a team player, and ready to be a world changer.
Must be able to commit for one (1) full academic year.
Must demonstrate passion and dedication to lead and serve your high school's HoPe chapter.
Must be in good standing with the high school.
If selected, the Legacy Leader will be required to attend the exclusive HoPe Youth Leadership Summit in mid July 2026 (additional details are coming).

Here is how you can submit one:

Upload a letter of recommendation from a teacher, administrator, or counselor to your HoPe Legacy Leader Application

Have the recommender submit the letter through our online portal available

2 LEGACY LEADER SELECTIONS

Notifications: Monday, April 13th, 2026

Your application will be reviewed, and you will be notified of its status via email.

If selected, you will be welcomed and provided details on accessing the Legacy Leader Training portal.

3 ATTEND THE EXCLUSIVE +
MANDATORY HOPE YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT (HYLS)

Dates: TBD - Mid July 2026

All accepted Legacy Leaders will be required to attend the HoPe Youth Leadership Summit. Attendance is required and mandatory.

The HoPe Youth Leadership Summit, also known as the HYLS for short is a

3-day exclusive event designed just for Legacy Leaders! The HYLS is one of the Legacy Leaders' most cherished and awaited events.
