HoPe LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

INTERACTIVE

The HLA is an 8 month leadership development training program facilitated to 20 high school students per year at each chapter. Students must apply, and once selected, participate in the most interactive and engaging leadership program offered to high school students.

INNOVATIVE

The HLA has an innovative, hands on curriculum enabling students to develop critical "soft skills" while having fun. Themes facilitated in the HLA include, but are not limited to: leadership, teamwork, public speaking, communication, and

conflict resolution

INSPIRING

The HLA is facilitated by trained college students who serve as mentors to each participant. Throughout the year, HLA members also develop and execute a class project to mentor, guide and motivate their respective middle school students.
